DIEGO DEL MORAO: "Pago de la Serrana", seguiriyas in Solera Flamenca
Last June we had the rhythm genius with us, Maestro Diego del Morao, at Solera Flamenca studio.
This time, he is bringing us a song from his latest album, "ORATE". "Pago de la Serrana" is the title of this new seguiriyas song, where we will find new harmonies and this “rhythm juggles”, which are so typical of this artist and so admired by us all, and setting the trend for so many other artists.
Diego del Morao is considered to be one of the best flamenco guitarists of our time, his genius as an artist, his unique sense of rhythm and his endless creativity make him a true "Wizard" Guitar as many call him, creating a personal and unique style in the same way as guitarists like Paco de Lucia and Vicente Amigo did. Regular guitarist of artists like Diego el Cigala, Diego Carrasco, José Mercé, Niña Pastori ... among others, his music is present in many recordings of artists seeking his collaboration in their recordings. It is not surprising that the master of masters, Paco de Lucia, publicly said once that Diego was his “weakness".
For the recording of this video, the artist employed a guitar made by craftsman Francisco Sánchez, 2016, an incredible guitar made by one of the greatest luthiers nowadays with a powerful and flamenco sound, just like our protagonist´s style...... A TRUE PRESENT!!! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
(Two parts of me), interpreting the Soleá "A mi compare Morao", also in this album.
