This guitar was built by the master luthier Arcángel Fernández in the year 1989, considered to be one of the best guitar makers in history. His instruments are really hard to get, since Japan collectors bought almost all of them. His guitars are truly admired by guitar makers, collectors and guitarists all around the world.
The different woods in this guitar are of the top existing quality. The Canadian spruce top presents a highly marked and straight grain. The back and the sides are made of Indian rosewood. Arcángel Fernández was extremely selective as regards the choice of the woods for the guitar making. He always seeked for nothing but excellence in acoustics and beauty, which can be appreciated in every single guitar he made all along his career.
This guitar was acquired by a classical guitarist. Consequently, it does not have any pickguard. However, they can be added so we can use it for flamenco concerts, as its sound is all-purpose, in a manner of speaking. As it can be seen in the attached videos. It has such a special timbre, making it distinguishable from the other guitars. Its volume, quality, warm sound, defined personality… all of it raises this instrument to the status of work of art.
The tension of this guitar is medium, and the height of the strings in saddle and fingerboard perfect, really balanced, which grants the performer a high degree of comfort for both hands.
The condition is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever.
