This flamenco guitar has been made by the great luthier Francisco Barba in 2015. He is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever and his guitars have been (and are) praised and used by some of the best guitarists in the world: Niño de Pura, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Pepe Habichuela… and so many others.
The woods employed for the construction of this guitar are excellent quality, the sound top is made of German spruce, with an even and straight grain on the entire surface. The body and body side are made of beautiful cypress tree, with a straight and simple veining.
The sound emerging from this guitar possesses some special features and nuances, where the flamenco touch from this luthier can be definitely found. The basses are deep and strumming, and the trebles, bright and crystal clear, with a sustained sound that sees itself amplified by the wide variety of harmonics that come from all its notes along the fretboard.
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfectly balanced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The condition is practically the one of a new guitar. It only presents some superficial marks at varnish level on the lower side and on the neck.
