This flamenco guitar has been made by the great luthier Francisco Barba in 2017. He is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever and his guitars have been (and are) praised and used by some of the best guitarists in the world: Niño de Pura, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Pepe Habichuela… and so many others.
We are particularly happy that we acquired this flamenco guitar, as it is made of Madagascar rosewood, with a long time curation and a really special cane-like tone. This kind of grain in Madagascar rosewood, unlike the darker and more homogeneous one, has a lower density, thus providing the guitar with a more aggressive timbre, and more lightness. In fact, we have confirmed these qualities by ourselves through these years, and it is one of the things which led us to order our craftsmen the making of these guitars with this kind of wood.
This flamenco guitar can be regarded as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a top-notch instrument for a more than affordable price, as it is not a new guitar, but its condition is optimal. A guitar with aggressive and powerful sound, with impressive trebles which are at the same acoustic level as the bass strings when they are strummed. This is something really rare, and it reminds us of maestro Paco de Lucia´s sound, with the guitar he had until the end of his career. In short, it is anyone´s dream guitar.
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfectly balanced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
