Flamenco guitar Paco Rey 2023

This flamenco guitar was built by luthier Paco Rey in 2023. This young builder from Cádiz has excelled quickly in the field of Spanish guitar making, becoming one of the novice craftsmen with greater impact. His guitars offer outstanding quality at a very competitive price, it is not surprising that artists like Antonio Rey, Puchero, Román Vicenti or Rubén Levaniegos trust this builder’s guitars.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

This is the first guitar we received from master craftsman Paco Rey since we met him three years ago. We saw a tremendous potential in his work, and along these three years, his instruments have evolved considerably, which place him as one of the best makers in our country. We are particularly happy for him, and we celebrate it with our first guitar made by Paco, hoping there will be many more to come.

The sound coming out of this guitar is powerful and with unparalleled scope. It has bright bass strings and “thick” and “hollow” sound. On top of it all, a powerfully flamenco timbre. Trebles are crystal-clear and penetrating, with extended sustain and accurate tuning.

The combination of sound and comfort found in this guitar, with rebound stroking which reminds us of Hermanos Conde guitars of the 70s, make it a guitar you will not get enough of. It leaves you wanting more, just like a child playing with their brand-new toy.
