This flamenco guitar was made by the guitar maker José A. Fuentes, from Barcelona, in 2020. He is one of the best representatives guitar makers in Catalonia. After working for more than 15 years as a carpenter, his passion for music and his talent when treating wood made him begin a new stage as guitar builder in a self-taught way, studying the construction systems of great guitar makers in history as Santos Hernández, Antonio de Torres, Miguel Rodríguez … and experimenting with new ideas and contributions that have led him to be one of the best guitarists of the current scene. His instruments reflect part of his personality, simple, elegant and minimalist always running away from the excesses of decoration, and using for the construction carefully selected woods and a long process of drying and curing.

The wood used for the top is German spruce, and spanish Cypress for back and sides. The top has a very accentuated grain, completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

The sound of this guitar is unique. The basses are unbelievably strong and deep, the trebles are sweet and clear, with an unmatchable sustain and projection. The harmonics it releases are truly magic. It is definitely a perfect sound, which makes us understand the respect and admiration that this firm gets from the guitar world.

This guitar has got medium tension, and a reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
