This flamenco guitar was built by the renowned guitar maker José López Bellido, one of the most recognized luthiers in Granada. His guitars have seen the stages around the world in the hands of large concert both classical and flamenco.

This guitar mod. “Centenario” is a limited edition built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the renowned craftsman and master guitar maker, José Bellido among them, Eduardo Ferrer. Constructed with the finest available woods, featuring a German spruce top and Spanish real cypress back/sides, and meticulous craftsmanship evident in every detail of this guitar.

José López Bellido is, as we’ve mentioned on other occasions, one of our favorite artisans from Granada. In the tone of his guitars, we find influences from the master Manuel de la Chica, with that depth, flamenco essence, and elegance that characterize him. This is undoubtedly one of the best guitars we have seen from the master guitar maker. The “rasgueos” with this guitar is quick and flamenco-style with a very present brightness that we personally love because it ensures that, despite playing with very worn strings, we can continue to enjoy its clarity indefinitely. The trebles are explosive and powerful, with that crystalline tone that is every guitarist’s dream.

The playability of this flamenco guitar is medium with a reduced string height both on the fingerboard and saddle, providing the guitarist with great comfort in both hands and ease of playing.

The conservation condition is very good and original, only presenting an imperceptible crack in the back, perfectly repaired and documented in the attached images.
