This flamenco guitar was built by the renowned guitar maker José López Bellido, one of the most recognized luthiers in Granada. His guitars have seen the stages around the world in the hands of large concert both classical and flamenco.
The woods chosen for this flamenco guitar are very selective in acoustics and beauty. The top of spruce has a very fine veining and straight on the entire surface. The rosewood sides and back waters shows some spectacular drawings. The brazilian rosewood used in the back part of the head produces a really beautiful effect. Specially remarkable has to be the headstock: a traditional one, but with an internal mechanism, making accurate tuning possible, without the disadvantages of the old wooden headstocks, combining thus the beauty of the latter with the accuracy and convenience of the modern mechanical headstock.
The sound of this guitar is the typical “Andalusian sound” with features that only a concert guitar can have, with a great balance in bass-treble relationship perfect. The Brazilian rosewood makes its contribution by providing a projection and admirable sustain.
The tension of this great guitar is middle and the height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard is low, all of which provides the guitar with a high degree of comfort for both hands.
The condition of this guitar is excellent and completely original without any cracks or repairs.
