Flamenco guitar José Ramírez P.C. 1965

This flamenco guitar was built by the popular José Ramirez signature in 1965, one of the most prolific periods of the firm, which flocked to his shop guitarists worldwide both classical and flamenco, Paco de Lucia, Manolo Sanlucar, Narciso Yepes, Serranito… among many others.

The wood used for the top is canadian cedar, and spanish Cypress for back and sides. The top has a very accentuated grain, completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

We are before a true gem, so hard to come by these days. It is a guitar made at José Ramírez´s workshop, by master luthier Pedro Contreras, in perfect condition. An instrument of supreme quality, both for its woods and its sound qualities, which captivates us just by hearing or even just looking at it, due to its aesthetic structure. The timbre is unique, marvellous, accompanied by endless virtues: balance, power, scope, depth, tuning… all of which make it an instrument at the verge of mysticism.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, without any cracks or repairs of any kind.
