Flamenco guitar Manuel Bellido 1982

This flamenco guitar has been made by the well-known guitar maker Manuel Bellido, one of the most popular luthiers in Granada. His guitars have been enjoyed on stages all over the world, with both classical and flamenco performers.

The chosen woods for this flamenco guitar are German spruce for the top, with a completely straight and even grain, and cypress for back and sides, a very selected woods and a drying process and optimal healing.

This guitar has this mature, vintage timbre, which we all really like, capable of making anyone fall in love with it. There is no doubt the exquisite quality of the guitar making in general and its woods in particular, along with the perfect condition of the instrument, are the main factors which account for this magic, and all the flamenco character you can feel just by stroking it.

As it also happens to artists, achieving a sound with character, capable of standing out from the others, is probably the most difficult virtue for a guitar craftsman to achieve. There are many craftsmen who build magnificent guitars with excellent acoustic performance but very few succeed at providing them with their own personality. Undoubtedly Manuel Bellido is one of the main representatives of guitar making in Granada and, with his impeccable and long career, he has contributed to defining and maintaining that particular “Andalusian guitar” timbre that identifies this beautiful Spanish city.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the heights of the strings in fingerboard and saddle are perfect, providing us with such a high degree of comfort that one will be delighted.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
