Flamenco guitar Manuel Reyes 2002 Ex-Vicente Amigo

This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes in 2002. His guitars are regarded as pieces of work, and him, as one of the greatest luthiers ever. In fact, his guitars have been (and are) played by some of the best performers ever: Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Jose Luis Postigo, Manolo Franco, and so many others.

This flamenco guitar belonged to maestro Vicente Amigo´s personal collection. Around 8 years ago, he visited his friend, the guitarist José Luis Postigo, the owner of one of the best guitars in our country. After trying several guitars of his collection, Vicente became interested in one of them, so he offered to exchange it for a guitar made by Manuel Reyes. José Luis accepted the trade, and he also asked for him to sign the top of the guitar, so as to be able to prove its origin. This flamenco guitar is built with superior quality woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent. The finishes are the typical in Manuel Reyes´ work: simple and elegant.

This guitar made by Manuel Reyes is possibly one of the most comfortable ones we have ever had in our hands. Besides, its sound is simply perfect: great volume, power, scope, clarity… everything one could ask for! Its beautiful timbre is definitely worth mentioning. A timbre which has become a universal hallmark which easily distinguish his instruments from the ones made by the rest of craftsmen.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever.
