Flamenco guitar Manuel Reyes Hijo 2019

This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes (son) in 2019. Manuel Reyes Maldonado´s son, he succeeded in learning and developing his father´s teachings, after sharing the workshop, and producing equally good guitars, regarding both the making and sound. It must be remarked the fact that in those first years of learning, those guitars were made by father and son together.

The wood used for the top is German spruce, and spanish Cypress for back and sides. The top has a very accentuated grain, completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

We are particularly happy to see Manuel Reyes perpetuating his father´s legacy, preserving this special and unique timbre in his guitars. Such a personal and unique timbre make these guitars different from all the rest, which we can assure as soon as we hear the first chord. Manuel Reyes hijo (son) managed to reflect and reproduce in his guitars the great virtues of his father´s guitars: scope, volume, and sound quality. A guitar with such great sound for flamenco playing in any of its variants: concert and accompanying to singing and dancing, perfect both for live music and studio recording.

This guitar has the highly-valued “rebound beating” on the right hand, combined with fantastic softness on the left one, thus accomplishing the “perfect instrument”, should we want to spend hours and hours playing non-stop with a nice feeling of ease.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, being completely original and without any single kind of crack or repair whatsoever.
