This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes (son) in 2024. Manuel Reyes Maldonado´s son, he succeeded in learning and developing his father´s teachings, after sharing the workshop, and producing equally good guitars, regarding both the making and sound. It must be remarked the fact that in those first years of learning, those guitars were made by father and son together.

The wood used for the top is German spruce, and spanish Cypress for back and sides. The top has a very accentuated grain, completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

This is one of the first guitars by Manuel Reyes son that he signs with the name “Manuel Reyes,” leaving behind the “hijo” distinction in his label and signature.

In this magnificent flamenco concert guitar, we find a powerful, rounded, and expansive sound, with unbeatable projection and a clarity that allows every detail of the piece being played to be heard. Manuel Reyes Sr. stood out for his exceptional finesse and meticulous craftsmanship, even surpassing that of his son. However, from an acoustic standpoint, we find the sound of Manuel Reyes Jr.’s guitars more appealing. His instruments represent the true “blanca” concert guitar, also achieved by his father, but with superior projection and notably thicker, more powerful trebles that, in many aspects, we might consider outstanding. Moreover, Manuel Reyes Jr. has managed to imprint a unique timbre in his guitars, allowing connoisseurs to distinguish them from those of his father, even though both share the same essence.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is new.
