This flamenco guitar has been made by the great luthier Francisco Barba in 2016. He is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever and his guitars have been (and are) praised and used by some of the best guitarists in the world: Niño de Pura, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Pepe Habichuela… and so many others.
The woods employed for this guitar are extraordinarily good. The german spruce top has got a very marked, straight and even grain. The back and sides are curly maple, a wood with acoustic qualities and extraordinary beauty. The edging work details and finishing are simply perfect.
The sound of this flamenco guitar is really amazing, possesses some special features and nuances, where the flamenco touch from this luthier can be definitely found, a perfect balance between basses and trebles and an incredibly flamenco timbre that sublimely combines power and volume with quality and perfect pitch.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard is very reduced, providing us with a high degree of comfort for both hands.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is new.
