Flamenco guitar José Mª Bandera’s Hermanos Conde 1984

This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Domingo Esteso´s nephews in the emblematic workshop in 7 Gravina Street. This workshop was owned by the Conde brothers, Faustino and Mariano. Lots of great performers have been in this workshop. For example, Paco de Lucía, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela, and so many others.

This guitar was property of José Mª Bandera, Paco de Lucia’s nephew and member of his band for some years.

This guitar is built with a high quality wood unobtainable today. Back and sides made of cypress, with a straight veining and uniform and top made of high quality german spruce. This wood give to this guitar the quality and character of the popular signature typical at this time.

The sound is amazing. In fact, José Mª Bandera himself chose it among many other guitars. It´s got a strong character, just perfect for the flamenco touch, with great depth basses, but also bright, along with crystal clear and powerful trebles.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium. The height of the strings in the fingerboard and saddle is very balanced, providing us with a high level of comfort for both hands, as well as simplicity for the performance itself.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, being completely original and without any single kind of crack or repair whatsoever.

Along with the guitar, a certificate of authenticity will be delivered, signed by José Mª Bandera himself.
