This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes in 1982. His guitars are regarded as pieces of work, and him, as one of the greatest luthiers ever. In fact, his guitars have been (and are) played by some of the best performers ever: Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, José Luis Postigo, Manolo Franco, and so many others.
The sound beats all the expectations one may have before testing a guitar. The bass stops are powerful, with a dry and percussive timbre. The trebles are crystal-
clear, with an unbeatable scope and definition. The strumming of this guitar is just
spotless. This is a feature we can find in Manuel Reyes’s guitars: a broken and bright
timbre which shows us and defines the term “FLAMENCO GUITAR”. It is no doubt
one of the best guitars we have ever held in our hands, as its fantastic materials and
sound qualities are exemplary.
The condition is excellent, only has a small and superficial fisure on the back perfectly repaired.
