This flamenco guitar was made by master luthier Antonio Bernal in 2013. Born in Camas (Seville) in 1973, he studies Music in the Elementary and Upper Music Conservatory in Seville in 1991. All along his career he has studied with great craftsmen and Maestros, repairing guitars belonging to some of the most prestigious luthiers in the world. At the same time, he was performing some studies on the finish of the top. Some years later, he learned it was better to implement some changes in the usual elements of the guitar, in order to improve its sound quality. Knowing the woods really well and analyzing each customer individually, he manages to make special and unique guitar for every single one of them.
The woods selected are of a surprisingly high quality. The canadian cedar top has a really marked, straight and even grain; the back and sides are of cypress of the very best quality, with a really beautiful style and optimal drying.
The sound coming out of this guitar is just spectacular. It combines volume and quality excellently. The bass are powerful and deep, and the trebles, crystal clear and with a great scope. On balance, a real flamenco sound with its own distinctive personality.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium. The height of the strings in the fingerboard and saddle is very balanced, providing us with a high level of comfort for both hands, as well as simplicity for the performance itself.
The condition is excellent and completely original. It only has a small aesthetic fault on the top, which is present since the very moment of its making. This circumstance is clearly shown in the images attached.
