This flamenco guitar has been made by the master luthier Gabriele Lodi, 2019. Gabriele started in the guitar maker business with his father. He always felt attracted to the old instruments entering his father’s workshop, which led him to study the instruments and music of the romantic period. He also concluded that composers of this time were highly influenced by the instruments they played: Giuliani with Fabbricatore and Stauffer, Legnani with Stauffer, Sor with Pages, Martínez, Panormo, Lacote. Aguado with Laprevotte, and so on. Nowadays he restores a great amount of Spanish and romantic guitars. His workshop has become a meeting point for guitarists and collectors all over the world.

We would like to remind our customers the fact that Gabriele Lodi was in charge of the restoration of the original guitar, providing him with an even deeper knowledge of the instrument. SEE NEWS

The woods of this guitar are excellent, of the highest quality available, selecting cuts with similar grains to the original intrument. The German spruce top has quite a straight, marked and even grain. The back and sides are made of Brazilian rosewood (Dalbergia Nigra), along with its corresponding CITES certificate. A breathtakingly beautiful wood, with impressive acoustic qualities. The finishes are reatrained and elegant.

Its sound is simply perfect. Just like the original model, the sound quality coming out of the instrument is simply unthinkable. The bourdons are incredibly deep, and the trebles, sweet and penetrating, with unmatched sustain and scope. The harmonics are simply pure magic. It is a true privilege to be able to play or hear this fine instrument, next to the original one. This way we can see how similar they are, both in sound and in touch, pulsation, comfort…

The tension is soft, and the height of string in saddle and fingerboard, perfect, being extremely comfortable to play. It is not easy at all to describe the potential which can be unleashed just by stroking the strings.

The condition of the guitar is new.
