This flamenco guitar was built by the Californian luthier Lester Devoe in 2001. He is considered one of the finest flamenco guitar makers in the world, and his instruments have been praised and played by guitarists such as Paco de Lucía, Vicente Amigo, and Sabicas, both in recording studios and in live concerts.

This flamenco guitar is the highest model crafted by this artisan. The quality of its woods and finishes, as well as its sound, represent excellence materialized in a guitar. A true jewel, specially commissioned and built with the finest woods: a German spruce top with a well-defined, straight, and uniform grain, and a dark rosewood with beautiful coppery reflections and a sweet, intoxicating aroma.

The sound of this flamenco guitar is spectacular—without a doubt, one of the finest guitars by maestro Lester Devoe that we have seen and tested over the years. It delivers tremendous power and deep basses with great body and brightness, producing a clear sound with an acoustic resonance that makes the entire guitar vibrate—something truly rare in rosewood guitars. The trebles are penetrating and aggressive yet offer long sustain and excellent harmonic response.

This guitar has the highly valued “rebound” touch on the right hand combined with remarkable smoothness on the left hand, making it the “perfect instrument” for playing for hours without fatigue and with a pleasant sense of ease. The string height at the 12th fret is 2.1 millimeters, allowing the left hand to perform with extreme simplicity and fluidity.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and entirely original, with no cracks or repairs of any kind.
