Some time later, after starting his own workshop in Granada, he would move to Barcelona, where he combined the guitar making with some jobs in set design, both for cinema and theatre. In 2008 he decided to focus o guitar making only, specializing in flamenco guitar. Ignacio uses Santos Hernández templates, and Manuel Bellido´s making system, with some small modifications which provide his guitars with personality, without losing the essence of the most traditional flamenco guitar.
