This flamenco guitar was built in the landmark workshop Gravina Street No. 7 by the nephews of the master luthier Domingo Esteso, then run by brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde. Many were the figures who passed through this workshop suing their guitars as Paco de Lucia, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Juan Habichuela… and much more.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

This flamenco guitar has belonged to the same guitarist that owns the Hermanos Conde 1976 and Conde Hermanos 1977 guitars on our website (SEE NEW). We can note that this was the guitar he used the most of the three, as its extreme sound quality and comfort are virtues that can be appreciated from the first chord without the need to be an expert. It is a guitar that, in spite of its visually striking marks on the varnish, mainly on the top, has no cracks or repairs of any kind. We have chosen not to revarnish it before putting it on sale because we prefer to preserve its 100% genuine sound, a sound that stands out for its character and depth, with that unmistakable flamenco timbre of the best guitars of the firm in this period.

This guitar has the highly-valued “rebound beating” on the right hand, combined with fantastic softness on the left one, thus accomplishing the “perfect instrument”, should we want to spend hours and hours playing non-stop with a nice feeling of ease.

The condition of this guitar is excellent. It was only necessary to retouch the varnish on the pick guard, which has been replaced. Of course, we could have done this retouching all over the varnish of the whole top, with a resulting aesthetic improvement. Nevertheless, the preservation of its sound and originality has been, as usual, our top priority.

In addition, the traditional pegbox has been replaced with a mechanical one, much more practical.
