This flamenco guitar is built in the legendary guitar-maker’s workshop Domingo Esteso, in 7th Gravina Street, Madrid, the year 1934. This luthier was one of the most distinguished disciples of Manuel Ramirez along with Santos Hernandez and Enrique Garcie, with who he shared the workshop in that time. In the year 1915 he decided to open his own workshop in 7th Gravina Street, where the most relevant figures of that time’s flamenco guitar were regulars. Domingo Esteso died in the year 1937 and is considered as one of the most important guitar-makers in Spanish guitar history.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

This flamenco guitar is one of those jewels that are rarely found in life. This guitar was built by Domingo Esteso, one of the best guitar makers in history, with very selected woods and in an extraordinary state of preservation. Its sound is truly magical, it is undoubtedly an instrument that far exceeds any expectation. Its basses, deep and powerful, give off an overwhelming personality. Its trebles show us a wide range of harmonics through its clear and crystalline notes.

This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfectly balanced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.

It is in excellent condition, with only a small and superficial crack in the soundboard, next to the pickguard, which does not go through the thickness of the wood at any time, but we have preferred to secure it with glue on the outside. We have decided to offer it without a pickguard, and we offer the possibility of fitting a white pickguard which is the same as the original in size and colour if preferred.
