This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes in 1993. His guitars are regarded as pieces of work, and him, as one of the greatest luthiers ever. In fact, his guitars have been (and are) played by some of the best performers ever: Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Jose Luis Postigo, Manolo Franco, and so many others.

This flamenco guitar is built with superior quality woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

This flamenco guitar meets all those acoustic features which every guitar aficionado who knows about Manuel Reyes´s guitars expects to find: depth, clarity, scope and that particular and spectacular strumming this genius managed to instill on his creations. In addition, we would like to highlight the high comfort this instrument offers for both hands: astonishing softness and touch on the left, rebound and accuracy on the right… a true gem if we are looking for the very best, indeed.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition is excellent and completely original. The shellac on the top has been touched up at surface level, due to the need for replacement of the original pickguard, as it presented a slight aesthetic flaw (nothing much). It was a bit shrunk, a detail which will be well-known by both beginners and experienced guitar lovers. This little flaw affected several instruments of this luthier. Nevertheless, we must bear in mind the fact that the presence of this unimportant imperfection is an unmistakable sign of the originality of the instrument.
