His guitars are regarded as pieces of work, and him, as one of the greatest luthiers ever. In fact, his guitars have been (and are) played by some of the best performers ever: Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Jose Luis Postigo, Manolo Franco, and so many others.

This flamenco guitar is built with a wood of extraordinary quality, hard to find nowadays. The top is made of german spruce and has a perfect veining regarding separation and uniformity, the back and sides are made of beautiful cypress tree, with a straight and simple veining.

The sound emerging from this guitar possesses some special features and nuances, where the flamenco touch from this luthier can be definitely found. The basses are deep and bright with an extraordinarily powerful, the trebles are vivid and crystal clear, attaining a very long sustain. All those features make a piece of work with unique sound quality that sublimely combines power volume and quality.

The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.

The condition of conservation is very good. It has some fissures, one in the sound top and four more in the upper side, all perfectly repaired and documented on the attached images.

Year: 1961

Top: German spruce

Back and sides: Cypress

Scale length: 650mm

Finish: French polish

Tuners: Mechanical tuners

String height at the 12th fret: 2,6mm

Saddle height: 7,6mm

Nut width: 52mm

Distance between 1st and
6th string at the nut: 44mm

Distance between 1st and
6th string at the saddle: 58mm

Case: “Prado” brown or black

Condition: Very good

Availability: SOLD

[105,109,115,1621

0":"post-6105","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-sold","7":"product_cat-sold-flamenco-guitars","8":"product_cat-manuel-reyes-sold","9":"product_cat-manuel-reyes-guitars","11":"first","12":"outofstock","13":"shipping-taxable","14":"product-type-simple
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.3 -
