This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.

This is one of the first guitars we received built with the sequoia wood that we acquired a few months ago and that we distributed among the best guitar makers so that they could build guitars of superior quality for us, exclusive and unique. This is the second sequoia guitar we have received from maestro Jesús de Jiménez. The result has beaten our high expectations by far: Its balanced is extremely accurate, as regards brightness/depth in the bass strings, with which exceptionally flamenco strumming is obtained. At the same time, a really beating bass sound, which makes the whole instrument vibrate. The trebles are crystal-clear and with an out-of-this-world scope, which make the effect of playing “all in”, doing their very best, indeed, with all of the sound being projected outwards. Secuoya has certain acoustic characteristics that make it one of the best woods to use for flamenco guitars, due to the shape and distribution of its grain and the crystallisation of its interior fibres and resins, which achieve a timbre that resembles the speed and clarity of cedar’s but with the sweetness and bass closer to spruce-pine’s.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is brand new.
