The Californian guitar maker Lester Devoe is the luthier who made this fine flamenco guitar, made in 2008. Lester Devoe is regarded as one of the best flamenco guitar makers in the world. In fact, his pieces of work have been praised and played by Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Sabicas… both in recording studios and live concerts.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of canadian cedar, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, with a straight grain and beautiful tones. The finishing is elegant and sober.

The sound of this flamenco guitar is the perfect example of acoustic excellence, bringing together all the virtues that define the guitars of master luthier Lester Devoe: an abundance of flamenco character, crystal-clear clarity, and an overwhelming personality, all crowned by an extreme comfort that turns hours of practice into a pleasurable experience. For these and many other reasons, it is no surprise that legendary guitarists such as Maestro Paco, Sabicas, and Vicente have used them on numerous occasions for the recording of some of their albums.

Furthermore, we recently saw on the craftsman’s website that the order list has been closed, which means no new guitars bearing the signature of this master luthier are likely to be made.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
