And just like that, unexpectedly… PAMPRAN!!! “El Rincón de los Flamencos”

This week at Solera Flamenca we bring you a very special production featuring the guitar and voice of Pampran Giménez in a beautiful medley that captivated the entire audience in the room, thanks to his distinctive tone and powerful voice. Interestingly, this performance was completely improvised, as the artist was attending the event as part of the audience. After the scheduled performance for that day at “El Rincón de los Flamencos,” he asked if he could perform a couple of songs on the Solera Flamenca stage—much to everyone’s surprise!

Pamprán Giménez, born in Huesca in March 1997, discovered his passion for flamenco singing at a very young age. He grew up in a family deeply connected to flamenco; one could say that everyone in his home sings. He comes from a true lineage of flamenco singers, among them his uncle Tutero, a great camaronero whose voice strikingly resembles that of José Monje Cruz, the legendary Camarón de la Isla. His father, mother, and siblings complete an artistic environment that shaped his destiny from childhood.

At the age of 12, he began performing at the Centro Cultural El Matadero in Huesca with the group Camaroneros. A year later, he participated in the Primavera Flamenca festival with the group Flamenkitos. At that time, Pamprán had a high, sweet voice that seemed destined to accompany him forever.

However, at the age of 14, the inevitable voice change arrived, bringing with it the feeling that he had lost everything he had built. His childlike voice faded away, forcing him into a process of recovery and adaptation that would mark a new stage in his artistic life.

During this period, he discovered the music of José Ortega Heredia, Manzanita, whose melodies and songwriting deeply inspired him. His new voice, rougher and more powerful, found its own path through that style. Over the following years, Pamprán worked tirelessly to refine his art, gradually making himself known through Facebook, where he began uploading videos of himself singing and accompanying himself on the guitar.

The public’s response soon followed, especially after his participation in the talent show La Voz. Many were amazed by the resemblance to the voice of the great Málaga-born cantaor Manzanita. His videos began to be shared by specialized flamenco pages. Today, Pamprán has recordings that surpass 50,000 views, performing well-known songs such as “Ramito de violetas,” “Por tu ausencia,” and “Verde.”

Here we leave you the video, hoping you enjoy it as much as we do!
