“OLVIDO” by “Coto Cerrao”. Jerónimo Maya & Ciniko & Xinkoa

Today, 21st September, World Alzheimer’s Day, we present ‘OLVIDO’, a beautiful and moving song dedicated to all the people who unfortunately suffer from this disease.

In Spain, more than 800,000 people suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. Worldwide, at least 44 million people have dementia, making this disease a global health crisis that must be addressed.

The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease is life-changing, not only for the person with the disease, but also for their family and friends.

Fortunately, science is advancing at an ever-faster pace, and we hope and expect that one day a drug will appear that is capable of at least halting the progression of the disease in those affected.

In Spain, there are some foundations such as the ‘Pascual Maragall Foundation’, created in April 2008, as a result of the public commitment of Pasqual Maragall, former mayor of Barcelona and president of the Generalitat de Catalunya, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. This foundation works to overcome this disease and to achieve a future in which ageing is associated with positive experiences.

From Solera Flamenca we invite you to collaborate with this research project for the prevention of Alzheimer’s by becoming a member through the following link. Together we will succeed!

‘OLVIDO’ is a track written by the rapper Eloi Yebra, better known as ‘Ciniko’, who we beautifully listened to accompanied by the guitar of master Jerónimo Maya and Beatmaker Xinkoa.

This track is a preview of the album ‘COTO CERRAO’, an ambitious recording project produced by Solera Flamenca and Pedro Javier González that will be released very soon!

On behalf of Solera Flamenca and all the artists who have participated in this track, we hope you like it and that it serves to show all our support to those affected by this disease and to their families.
