Next 10 August 2022 Pedro de la Timotea´s Flamenco Night will take place, marking the beginning of the Funfair in Herrera.

The singer Pedro Gómez Moreno, also known as Pedro de la Timotea in the flamenco world, was born in Herrera on 19 January 1896, and died in his hometown on 25 April 1986. His mother, Carmen de la Timotea, was a professional flamenco guitarist, and a good singer. This stage name “de la Timotea”, which identifies their family, is previous to Carmen, and comes, at least, from her mother.

This festival is organized by the city council of Herrera, with the collaboration of Seville´s provincial government.

In this edition, we will have the privilege of enjoying the guitar of great artists such as Jerónimo Maya, Diego del Morao, Antonio Higuero and Nono Reyes, as well as the singing by Antonio Reyes, Israel Fernández and Rancapino Chico. An unbeatable event for a magical evening, with the very best of flamenco singing.
