This flamenco guitar was built in 2025 by master luthier Ignacio Paricio. Ignacio Paricio was born in Barcelona in 1970. Before dedicating himself to guitar making, he studied architecture and worked as a professional model maker, where he learned to handle precision machinery, working with both methacrylate and wood. His passion for the guitar led him to leave everything behind and move to Granada in 1995 to learn the craft of luthiery with Manuel and Jesús Bellido. Later, after establishing his own workshop in Granada, he returned to Barcelona, where he combined guitar making with work in film and theater set design. In 2008, he decided to devote himself exclusively to building guitars, specializing in the flamenco guitar. Ignacio uses a Santos Hernández plantilla (mold) and Manuel Bellido’s construction system, with small modifications that give his instruments a personal character while maintaining the essence of the most traditional flamenco guitar.

The woods used in this flamenco guitar are German spruce for the soundboard and genuine Spanish cypress for the back and sides. The soundboard shows a very marked, straight, and uniform grain across its entire surface. The back and sides are made of cypress of exceptional quality and beauty.

The playability of this flamenco guitar is medium, with a very balanced string action both at the fingerboard and at the saddle, offering the guitarist great comfort in both hands and ease of playing.
