This flamenco guitar was built by luthier Javier Castaño in 2025. Javier Castaño was born in Madrid in 1974. At the age of fourteen, his passion for flamenco guitar was already evident, and he began playing the instrument. At twenty-two, he started his career as a guitar maker, studying under Master Rafael López Porras in Cádiz. In 2008, he began working fully within the Madrid school, marking a turning point in his career as a luthier and mastering the knowledge and techniques of this prestigious tradition. In 2014, he began collaborating directly with Conde Hermanos (Atocha Street workshop), shaping instruments that carry the signature sound of his great mentor, Julio Conde.

The woods used in this flamenco guitar are of the highest quality. The soundboard is made of German spruce, with a straight, even grain that guarantees exceptional acoustic performance. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, featuring beautiful straight veins and rich tones. The finish is elegant and understated.

The sound of this flamenco guitar is spectacular! Its power and volume stand out, along with the versatility typical of Javier’s guitars — although deeply flamenco in tone, they adapt perfectly to any musical style. It offers bright, full basses and trebles with remarkable sustain and harmonic richness.
