This flamenco guitar was built in 2021 by master luthier Juan Miguel González. He is the heir to a strong guitar-making tradition from Almería, which he began learning at a very young age in his father’s workshop. His work combines traditional craftsmanship, research, and technical innovation, always guided by a deep passion for the Spanish guitar. Each instrument is crafted using exceptional tonewoods, many of them aged naturally over several decades. His most recent studies have led to the development of new bracing and construction systems, resulting in guitars with outstanding tone, resonance, and playability.

The tonewoods used in this flamenco guitar are of the highest quality. The spruce top features a very pronounced, straight, and uniform grain, while the back and sides are made from exceptionally beautiful and high-quality cypress.

This is an outstanding flamenco guitar. The bass strings are powerful and immediately striking, with a bright, deeply flamenco character and great body, allowing the entire instrument to vibrate and making rasgueos a true pleasure. The trebles are clear, penetrating, and offer long sustain.

The string action and overall setup are excellent, providing extremely comfortable playability for both hands and facilitating smooth, effortless performance.

The guitar is in very good condition. It has two cracks on the lower side, clearly documented in the accompanying images and expertly repaired using only glue, resulting in a restoration that is virtually invisible.
