This flamenco guitar was built in the landmark workshop Gravina Street No. 7 by the nephews of the master luthier Domingo Esteso, then run by brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde. Many were the figures who passed through this workshop suing their guitars as Paco de Lucia, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela… and much more.
The woods of this flamenco guitar are simply perfect. The top is made of German spruce with an incredible grain: perfectly straight and uniform across its entire surface. The back and sides are made from extraordinary cypress wood. The finishes are typical of the Conde Hermanos brand, simple and elegant.
This flamenco guitar possesses that very particular, special, and unique tone that the Hermanos Conde family gifted the world in the 1970s, a tone that stands out especially in the bass, deep and full-bodied, and piercing, aggressive trebles that enhance precision and clarity in picados and scales. True gems of instruments that, unfortunately, are becoming increasingly difficult to find and are a genuine guarantee of quality for guitarists and collectors of all levels.
The playability of this flamenco guitar is medium, very comfortable for both hands, thanks to the low string action on the fingerboard and saddle.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and entirely original, with no cracks or repairs of any kind. The original nitrocellulose lacquer finish, cracked due to the passage of time, was masterfully replaced to restore its genuine aesthetic.
