This flamenco guitar was built in the landmark workshop Gravina Street No. 7 by the nephews of the master luthier Domingo Esteso, then run by brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde. Many were the figures who passed through this workshop suing their guitars as Paco de Lucia, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela… and much more.
This guitar is built with top-quality woods that are virtually impossible to find today. A straight-grained Indian rosewood with beautiful tones and a German spruce soundboard with a linear and uniform grain give this guitar the quality and character typical of the popular firm during that era.
This guitar is a rare gem. The mere fact that it is a rosewood and spruce guitar from the 1970s by Hermanos Conde makes it a treasure—throughout our lives, we’ve probably only seen around three instruments with these characteristics. But beyond that, we are looking at a guitar with no cracks or restorations of any kind, with its original varnish and a perfectly aligned neck. The result could not be otherwise: a true jewel of an instrument with unbeatable sound quality. A concert guitar at its finest—clear, crisp, with great projection, power, and a beautiful tone that captivates from the very first chord, inevitably reminding us of the guitar used in Paco de Lucía’s concerts.
This guitar has the highly prized “rebound” feel in the right hand, combined with spectacular smoothness in the left hand, making it the perfect instrument for playing for hours without fatigue and with a delightful sensation of ease.
The condition is excellent and entirely original, with no cracks or repairs of any kind.
