This flamenco guitar has been made by the great luthier Francisco Barba in 1987. He is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever and his guitars have been (and are) praised and used by some of the best guitarists in the world: Niño de Pura, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Pepe Habichuela… and so many others.
The woods employed for the construction of this guitar are excellent quality, the sound top is made of German spruce, with an even and straight grain on the entire surface. The back and sides are made of beautiful cypress, with a straight and simple veining.
This flamenco guitar is simply impressive, in every sense: sound quality, comfort, making, etc. This deep “hollow” timbre is found in this instrument. Only years and years give these nuances to the very best flamenco guitars. A real FLAMENCO guitar, in every sense, with a unique scope, which goes to show the fact that Francisco Barba is one of the best Spanish guitars makers in history.
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfectly balanced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The condition of this classical guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
