This flamenco guitar was made by the legendary guitar maker Miguel Rodríguez in his workshop, located in 15 Alfaros Street (Córdoba) in 1964. His guitars are objects of desire for collectors and performers all around the world because of both its meticulous construction and the personality they have.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent. Miguel Rodríguez was extremely selective as regards the choice of the woods for the guitar making. He always seeked for nothing but excellence in acoustics and beauty, which can be appreciated in every single guitar he made all along his career.

The tone of Miguel Rodríguez’s guitars is unmistakable and full of character. Their sound displays perfect and absolute balance in every aspect: brightness, depth, projection, power, clarity… A guitar with a quick and direct response, with just the right touch of dryness that makes strumming a true delight for the guitarist, along with that deeply personal flamenco echo that is the hallmark of this master luthier.

The action is medium, with perfectly balanced string height at the saddle and fingerboard, providing great comfort for both hands.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and entirely original. It only shows a small crack on the lower part of the top, which has been perfectly repaired and is fully documented in the attached images.
