This flamenco guitar was made by the guitar maker Álvaro Segura in 2024. Álvaro Segura is a nephew to master luthier Francisco Sánchez de Estepa (Sevilla), with whom he shares workshop. He has inherited his knowledge and wisdom to make an instrument of the highest quality, with a similar structure, but with a personality and timbre of its own. His instruments reflect part of his personality, simple but elegant, employing for its making woods carefully selected with a long drying and curation process.

The top is made of german spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

The sound of this flamenco guitar is simply perfect in every way. We don’t want to exaggerate, but it’s impossible to find any flaw. A new guitar with an aged, hollow sound that is deep and wide, with immediate responsiveness. The rasgueo is bright and sharp, and the trebles are crystal-clear and penetrating. Its tone is powerfully flamenco, reminiscent of the great guitars of masters like Santos or Barbero. A perfect 10 in every sense.

This flamenco guitar has got middle tension, and a perfect height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
