This flamenco guitar has been made by the master luthier Andrés D. Marvi in Ferreirola (Granada) in 2012. His guitars are highly regarded all over the world, also by renowed guitarists, classical or flamenco ones, such as Gerardo Nuñez, Goran Krivokapic, Aniello Desiderio… who use them both for live concerts and studio recordings.
The different kinds of wood used in its manufacturing are of an extraordinary quality, the sound top is made of German spruce, with an even and straight grain on the entire surface. The back and sides are made of beautiful cypress tree, with a straight and homogeneous veining.
The timbre of this flamenco guitar has incredible personality, mainly due to the making system of this luthier, based on the classical Dutch style, although with really accurate adaptations from the typical flamenco making style.
Thus, this guitar has the very best of both worlds: the scope and power of a classical concert guitar, and the timbre and comfort of a flamenco guitar. It is a top-notch instrument, with spectacular and deep sound, divine trebles, a wide harmonic variety and a tremendous flamenco timbre.
Andrés D. Marvi´s guitars have a special making system, as regards the set of the fingerboard and neck, attaining inexplicably high levels of comfort and softness, despite its above-average height. This is an instrument meant to be played non-stop, for hours and hours, with an incredible beating, and the much appreciated “rebound effect” on the strings.
The condition is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever. It only has some superficial marks and some wear on the varnish, and a slight crack quite close to the side, not needing any kind of repair whatsoever.
