This flamenco guitar was made by the prestigious guitar maker Antonio Marín Montero, from Granada, in 2013. His guitars have been admired by performers and luthiers all over the world, because of their great quality, concerning both sound and the overall making process, all of which makes him one of the best guitar makers ever.
The woods selected are really exclusive regarding acoustics and beauty. The spruce top has got quite a refined grain, which is straight and even, as well. The Brazilian Rosewood of the back and sides is really homogeneous and with a beautiful chocolate tone that endorses the quality of the piece.
This guitar by Antonio Marín may be the most flamenco rosewood guitar we have seen in this maker. It has all the virtues and qualities of the typical concert black guitar: volume, scope, and sustain, but with the typical quick response and this “dry” touch, typical of the cypress guitar, which makes it the perfect guitar for both concert and accompaniment.
The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever.
