Flamenco guitar Antonio Marín Montero 2016 nº 845

This flamenco guitar was made by the prestigious guitar maker Antonio Marín Montero, from Granada, in 2016. His guitars have been admired by performers and luthiers all over the world, because of their great quality, concerning both sound and the overall making process, all of which makes him one of the best guitar makers ever.

The wood of this flamenco guitar are of supreme quality. The top is made of German spruce, with a straight, even and very marked grain along its whole surface, whereas perfect cypress wood has been chosen for the back and sides. This guitar has different characteristics from the usual in Antonio Marín´s instruments. This is due to this guitar being a special order, a customized instrument with a 658 scale (whereas 650 is the usual scale for this maker) and some more distance between strings on the nut and the bridge.

The sound of this guitar shows both great volume and quality. The basses are powerful and deep, the trebles are very clear and brilliant with a very long sustain, having a perfect balance between basses and trebles, and a very accentuated flamenco sound.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard is reduced. The height on the fret 12 is 2,3 mm, one of the lowest ones possible in a guitar, which allows our left hand to do its job very easily and fluently.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, and completely original, without any crack or repair whatsoever.
