This flamenco guitar was made by the guitar maker Francisco Sánchez, from Estepa (Sevilla) in 2024. After starting his career as a guitar maker in 1999, he made a name for himself in the current panorama, getting a great reputation due to his elaborate making and a great sound quality attained in every single guitar made.

Its sound is impressive: this is an instrument of the highest quality in every aspect, with unparalleled sound and timbre capable of captivating even the most demanding guitarist. Redwood has unique acoustic properties that make it one of the best woods for building flamenco guitars. This is due to the arrangement and shape of its grain, along with the crystallization of its fibers and internal resins, which produce a timbre with the precision and clarity of cedar but with the warmth and depth closer to spruce. The combination of Pau Ferro and redwood, as we have mentioned before, is a safe choice, ensuring a powerful, well-defined sound with great projection—essential qualities for a concert guitar. This instrument, without a doubt, exceeds all those expectations.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard is reduced. The fluidity with which the left hand works across the fingerboard together with the comfort of the touch of the right hand, thanks to a marked ‘rebound effect’, make it one of the most comfortable guitars we have tried over the years.
