This flamenco guitar was made in 1975 by Gerundino Fernández, a prestigious guitar maker, born in Almería. He is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever, despite the facts of being self-taught and leading a bohemian life in his last years. His guitars have been present in stages all over with guitar performers like Paco Peña, Tomatito, Raimundo Amador…
Its sound is unique, and the bass stops, deep and bright. The trebles are crystal-clear and
well defined. really accurate. In this guitar, we find a very characteristic and particular
flamenco timbre, with the unmistakable signature of this genius. This instrument is a perfect example of Gerundino’s work, with the virtues and
distinctive qualities which are typical of the best guitars we have seen from this maker.
A real gem, capable of making anybody fall in love with it, no matter how demanding
they are. It is no doubt one of the best guitars we have ever held in our hands, as its
fantastic materials and sound qualities are exemplary.
