This flamenco guitar as built by the maestro luthier Ignacio Paricio in 2018. Ignacio Paricio was born in Barcelona in 1970. Before he started learning how to become a guitar maker, he worked as a professional model maker. In this profession, he learned to use high-precision machinery for working on both wood and methacrylate. His passion for the guitar led him to leave it all behind, and move to Granada in 1995 in order to learn guitar making with Manuel and Jesús Bellido. Some time later, after starting his own workshop in Granada, he would move to Barcelona, where he combined the guitar making with some jobs in set design, both for cinema and theatre. In 2008 he decided to focus o guitar making only, specializing in flamenco guitar. Ignacio uses Santos Hernández templates, and Manuel Bellido´s making system, with some small modifications which provide his guitars with personality, without losing the essence of the most traditional flamenco guitar.
The woods used in this flamenco guitar are extraordinary. The top is made of canadian cedar, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Madagascar rosewood with breathtakingly beautiful shades, providing the guitar with great beauty and elegance.
Its sound is really marvelous. The basses are deep and strumming, and the trebles, bright and crystal clear, with a sustained sound, a perfect balance between basses and trebles and an incredibly flamenco timbre that sublimely combines power and volume with quality and perfect pitch.
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfect height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
Its condition is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever.
