Flamenco guitar Javier Castaño 2019

This flamenco guitar was made by Javier Castaño in 2019. Javier Castaño was born in Madrid in 1974. Aged 14, he was really skilled, and his playing, really touching. When he was 22, he started his career as a guitar maker, taking several courses with Maestro Rafael López Porras, in Cádiz. In 2008 he completely devoted himself to the Madrid school. It is now when his career as a guitar maker takes a whole new direction, acquiring the knowledge and technique from this school of maestros. In 2014 he began working directly with the firm Conde Hermanos, in Atocha Street, shaping and providing the instrument with Julio Conde´s sound.

The chosen woods for this flamenco guitar are German spruce for the top, with a completely straight and even grain, and cypress for back and sides, a very selected woods and a drying process and optimal healing.

This guitar, even though it can not be regarded as a concert one, due to its scope and volume, is really fun to play, and an option to be seriously considered, because of its value for money, its beautiful flamenco timbre and the comfort it offers.

The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
