Jerónimo Maya and his new Geoff Rashe guitar playing bulerías at Solera Flamenca

We have known Jerónimo for many years, and we can assure you that he has refined and exquisite taste when it comes to selecting an instrument. He is not easily impressed. Last year, he had the opportunity to try out some guitars made by master luthier Geoff Rashe at Solera, but the truth is that they had all already been sold on commission. He was so impressed by this luthier’s work that he did not hesitate to commission a guitar made of cedar and rosewood.
On the very day of the concert at Solera, Geoff arrived with Jerónimo’s newly completed guitar. After trying it out, Jerónimo immediately stepped onto the stage to debut it, without a second thought and without any adjustment period whatsoever. We believe that says it all.
A beautiful guitar that you can hear in this bulería and which will accompany him in his future concerts and recordings.
Geoff Rashe’s guitars are not simply exceptional instruments: they are genuine works of art. Each one reflects a profound understanding of flamenco sound, a meticulous pursuit of tonal balance and a traditional aesthetic combined with extraordinary attention to detail.

Beyond their acoustic and construction quality, Geoff Rashe’s guitars have also become an investment for the future. Few luthiers possess the talent, dedication and vision required to become part of guitar-making history. Everything suggests that, over the next twenty years, Geoff Rashe’s name will rank among the five most important and respected guitar-making names in the world.
