This flamenco guitar was built by the Catalan workshop Hermanos Camps in 2014. Founded in 1945 in Banyoles (Girona), the Camps workshop has established itself as one of the leading names in contemporary Spanish guitar making, combining traditional construction methods with technical innovations that enhance the instrument’s stability and playing comfort. The Primera-A series represents one of the most distinguished models in their professional flamenco range, developed in collaboration with guitarist and educator Manuel Granados.

The guitar features a solid spruce top and carefully selected solid Spanish cypress back and sides. This wood combination is the most traditional choice for a blanca flamenco guitar, providing structural lightness, quick attack response, and excellent projection. The reinforced cedar neck contributes to remarkable stability and playing precision.

Its sound is bright, powerful, and highly defined, with the dry and percussive character so highly valued in traditional flamenco playing. It stands out for its fast response, clarity between voices, and excellent note separation, while maintaining a good level of sustain that broadens its possibilities for both accompaniment and solo performance.
