This flamenco guitar was made by the young guitar-maker Jerónimo Pérez de Algodonales, in Cadiz, the year 2024. This artisan has managed to be recognised as one of the most promising guitar builders in such a short period of time, due to his own merits and his marvelous instruments. In them, he joins together a careful and dedicated construction along with the best sound, having its own personality. With this, he managed to have guitarists such as Antonio Rey, Paco Cepero, Diego del Morao, Miguel Salado, Bolita, Jesús Guerrero, Antonio Moya… etc. coming to his workshop looking for one of these instruments.
The top is made of german spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.
This flamenco guitar, like its “sister” delivered on the same day, demonstrates the mastery that this guitar maker achieves: it is really difficult to distinguish them both physically and acoustically! We have always argued that the difficult thing is not making an exceptional guitar out of every five, no, the real achievement is maintaining a masterful line of quality in all the guitars because this means that the guitar maker perfectly masters and understands all the variables required in treating each piece of wood that makes up the instrument to bring out its maximum acoustic performance. And this is something that only the best master craftsmen end up mastering. The bass strings are very similar to Manuel Reyes’ guitars, with a lot of body, bright and clear, something that stands out especially in the strumming. The trebles are direct and crystalline with perfect tuning and projection.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard is reduced. The height on the fret 12 is 2.1 millimeters, which allows our left hand to do its job very easily and fluently.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is brand new.
