This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.

The woods employed for the making of this guitar are of extraordinary beauty and quality. For example, those woods have been used after a careful seasoning process. The top has been made of German spruce, with a straight and even grain. The back and sides are made of cypress wood with an aesthetically perfect cut.

This guitar belonged to a collector, a close friend of ours, with an exquisitely refined taste for guitar selection. Now he has decided to offer some of his most valuable treasures, and this one in particular is probably one of the best guitars we have received from Jesús so far. It is no exaggeration if we say that it can be compared to the best guitars of any firm. A guitar with well-defined, big, powerful sound. It belongs to the second period of the maker, when there was a clear evolution, as regards acoustics, but also its stroking and comfort. Needless to say, it resulted in an instrument which, as musicians like to say, might sound different, but not better!

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the heights of the strings in fingerboard and saddle are perfect, providing us with such a high degree of comfort that one will be delighted.

Its condition is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever.
