This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.
The woods employed for this guitar are extraordinarily good. The german spruce top has got a very marked, straight and even grain. The back and sides are birdseye maple, a wood with acoustic qualities and extraordinary beauty.
The sound of this guitar is excepcional. This guitar belonged to one of our best friends, a guitarist with a wonderful taste, and owner of one of the best guitar collections in Europe as regards instrument choice. Needless to say, this is one of the best guitars ever made in Jesús´s workshop, and anyone who holds in in their hands will be able to confirm that in a mater of seconds. Its perfect balance, scope, power and sound quality is far beyond reason. It is no doubt a perfect instrument in every single sense!
The tension of the guitar is middle, and the height of the strings in saddle and fingerboard perfect, really balanced, which grants the performer a high degree of comfort for both hands.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
