This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.
During the last year 2017, Jesús de Jiménez has introduced some modifications in the making process of his guitars, with which has reached the highest levels of comfort and artistic quality in every instrument made.
Amazing woods can be found in this piece of work: German spruce for the top, with a very straight and even grain all along its surface. The back and sides are made of cocobolo, an aesthetically marvelous wood due to its tones and grain shapes, providing the guitar with great beauty and elegance.
The sound of this guitar is really surprising. A specially flamenco timbre which is full of personality and character. Bright and harsh bass stops, with deep bass and crystal-clear, aggressive treble, where a wide variety of harmonics flow easily.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard, really balanced, which provides the performer with an easy execution and great comfort for both hands.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is brand new.
